WELCOMING NEW CIENTS: Cartelia practices from a holistic, person-centered modality because she believes that therapy should be approached with the whole person in mind. She is well experienced as a mental health clinician in Somatic Psychotherapy, Grounding, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and is also a trauma informed 200-hr register yoga teacher. Her goal as therapist is to help promote a deeper body connection toward wellness and to promote behavioral transformations that help you manifest a life that’s aligned with your core values.

Cartelia has been married for over 20 years.  She is a mother of three and when she is not working she enjoys relaxing at home, and spending time with friends and family. She is proud of her 15 years working in the public school system and is still passionate about her work with young adults struggling through developmental life transitions.  Cartelia provides individual counseling as well as group, and family. She is a proud LBGTQ ally and have worked in the agency, non-profit, and private practice setting, working and advocating within the LBGTQ community.

Cartelia has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Master of Arts in Teacher Leadership, Administrative Certification K-12, and Masters of Education in Clinical Mental Health.
